I met my friend Sohan, a farmer and offered him the sack, but on one condition. ‘He would return the same quantity after the harvest and the rest he would distribute among the poor and the needy’.

I insisted that Sohan too should take a share for his effort In this way, I made the most of precious resource I had in hand. What did I earn? Happiness that my thoughtful gesture helped bring a few smiles on the hungry faces and appreciation from my father’s friend for my act of service.
